Welcome to the Ohrmann Museum and Gallery web page. Here you will
be introduced to the unique paintings and steel sculptures of Montana artist
Bill Ohrmann, retired rancher, life-long artist, and in his paintings,
spokesman for the earth. With his brush, he has expressed his no
holds barred view of man's inhumanity to nature, to each other, and to
the creatures with which we share this planet. Alternating with the
scenes of mayhem and dire predictions are hopeful, inspiring scenes of
how it was or how it should be. Poetry and prose from authors such
as Jack London, Isak Dinesen, and Missoula poet John Haines accompany many
of the paintings.
The Ohrmann Museum and Gallery,
located 2 1/2 miles south of Drummond, Montana on Highway 1, houses these
and many other of Bill Ohrmann's paintings, woodcarvings, bronzes, and
welded steel sculptures. It is open daily from 10 am until 5 pm.
